In an interview Erin said "for groceries that come in plastic packaging that will be refrigerated or frozen, we wipe down the packaging using disinfectant wipes.................All pantry items are just put away as usual."
Why not wipe down the pantry items also? Does the virus linger in colder environments, fridge or freezer for a much longer period?
What if we took those freezer or refrigerator items out of the plastic they came in. Would that make a difference?
We have not been wiping down any of our groceries, and now I'm just a little concerned. We also haven't had any problems, at least none we are aware of.
