A friend and I have been social distancing independently. We are in our 60s and 70s, both living solo but in city high rise apartment buildings. We are masked in public even in our buildings. He is a cancer survivor. Is it possible to see one another 6 feet away while masked? Or even share a brief embrace? The emotional strain of prolonged social distancing, even with zoom, phone calls, social media, etc. is beginning to have a significant effect.
