This has been the hardest part for us so far. Our kids' friends started out very cautious, but now most of them are trying to play together like Covid isn't a thing. We have to have regular conversations with the neighborhood kids about distancing. It's hard for them to remember, but also, their parents are caring less and less, so our kids are watching while the other kids play.
Now that things are starting to open up in Illinois, we're getting calls about play dates for our kids from other parents. From my perspective, it seems like we're still on the upswing of Covid cases — I don't really understand why things are opening back up yet — so I don't know what to say to our kids (or my wife) about this... Any advice at all on "kid re-entry," technique-wise and timing-wise?
