well we better touch it and asap...nothing much works if kids are home all day...ventilation...filters...masks...uv light...reimagining our indoor. public spaces begins with schools..i am uncertain about American high schoolers being socially distant or fully masked...let alone trying to find classrooms where kids can be 6 or more feet apart...what about choir and music classes...I will believe in American ingenuity and government when we have evidence of real, concrete plans...other than unworkable lists from people with no real teaching experience
Maybe a clue?
No one wants to touch this topic. But its one of the most important topics out there. We don't have the data to conclusively show children are protected. They have been the most socially isolated population on the planet. Is their lower infection rates due to physical isolation or due to a currently unknown biological mechanism. We know they can be infected, but we don't know their role in viral transmission.
