We need to have some emergency work done to avoid our bathroom floor collapsing (we've been waiting since Feb and it really can't wait any longer). We live in a small 2 bedroom flat (rented). I wanted to ask you all if you think our plan is going to be safe enough or if there is something more we should do. Our plan is: - While workers are in the house, limit ourselves to two rooms on the other side of the house (with cat) - Disinfect any potentially shared surfaces, doorhandles etc as we go, especially after using the kitchen
- Only speak at length to the workers outside and maintain 2m+ distance - Disinfect all doorhandles and light switches after workers leave and before they arrive We will be without a bathroom for up to a month. We have a second toilet (thankfully), but need an external shower. A friend nearby has remained just as isolated as us - our plan is to visit them only once every 7 days to wash fully, and to go straight in to the bathroom wearing a mask, touching as little as possible in the house. Afterwards he will disinfect. We will not have any direct contact with other people/businesses etc during this time (we already limit ourselves to one activity every 7 days as it is). Can anyone see any glaring gaps in our plan? For more context, we have been able to pretty much completely isolate ourselves until now, so this is our first time creating a full daily plan. We also both highly suspect we had corona in March at the time of the first lockdown, we self isolated but were unable to get tested.
